The title says it all! Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) is on the way in a couple weeks and I can’t wait to get my hands on the final version. A couple notable features will be Empathy replacing Pigeon and ext4 file system by default among many other advancements!

Can you explain why you choose to use Ubuntu and if there are things you cannot do with Ubuntu that you can do with OS X or Windows?

16|Oct|2009Most everything is possible with Ubuntu as you can do with windows/os x. It has a couple shortcomings in image/video editing as photoshop and some of the nicer video software doesn’t run on linux natively. Since most of my time is focused on web development (programming mostly) I find it much more friendly than windows since its so simple to produce a mirror of my linux hosting environment.
