Given that everything except the ID’s of the two DIV tags are the only things that are different, is there a way to write this more efficiently?

(For what it’s worth, I’m not just waiting around for you to answer this for me: I’m scrambling to do my own homework. I wouldn’t bother you with this if the solution wasn’t time sensitive. If I find the solution first, I can post the answer to your site, if you want).

Hey Sean, you may have gone about it wrong. Multiple instances of the cropper can be created, just attach it to different elements:
$(‘#UploadPhoto1′).uberuploadcropper({…});
$(‘#UploadPhoto2′).uberuploadcropper({…});
$(‘#UploadPhoto3′).uberuploadcropper({…});

Hey, Trent! Thanks for all the work you’ve done on this. I downloaded the newer, non-Flash version and have have been trying to get my mind around the problem of making it work for multiple images: If not in one pass, then at least allowing 4 buttons and managing 4 crops before submitting the rest of a form.

One experiment was to simply copy and paste the contents of the script function repeatedly, renaming the copied versions’ variables UploadImages2, etc. and PhotoPrevs2, etc. That worked for my needs, but it’s horribly bad scripting on my part.

Is there a way to allow for multiple variable/id names while using only one version of that script?

Also, where should I be looking to rename the image names as I’m uploading?

Sorry, JS and JQuery conventions are not my specialties.

I am in such a great need of this thing,,, I have two uses, one is single image upload and crop for user profiles, but the other one is for multiple image uploads and crops… I hope it works :) I am giving it a try now.

You should be able to, yes. Impromptu has a method $.prompt.getCurrentState() which returns the current visible state (containing the crop). Then use a jQuery selector to grab the image and get the jcrop api. With the api you can call:

jcrop_api.setOptions({…});

Hi,
Is it possible to change the aspectRatio when you’re allready in the impromptu window?
I’ve added two buttons above the image to be cropped, and when a button is clicked, the aspectRatio should change, but I can’t get it worked.

Guys, i need some help here! I want to use that plugin, i install and it’s work. But if i upload a image with a big resize, the Impromptu create a pop up that not display all in the screen and the image get cut!
