jQuery-Waiting No Longer Just a Spinner

If you've used jQuery-Waiting you know its a pretty lightweight, customizable spinner with great browser compatibility (Looking at you IE). What you may not know is with it's latest release jQuery-Waiting is now a progress bar too, with little extra effort on your part.

How does it work you ask?

It all came about with one new option called "percent". By default jQuery-Waiting is a spinner, so the spin goes through 100% of the tick elements. By using the handy api you can at any time set the percent to 50%, 75%, whatever you like.

$el.waiting('option',{ percent: 25 });

So where does this come in use? File updloads, long running tasks, anywhere you would need a progress bar. Check out the docs for more information on options and examples.
